NextAxiom Technology was founded in 2000 by experienced enterprise software professionals with a vision that will bring Moore’s Law to software development. They draw on their collective experience in product development, business development and professional services from companies such as, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Siebel, AOL, Netscape, Red Pepper and OnLink.

Ash Massoudi
CEO & Co-Founder

Ash is an entrepreneur and a software inventor with an extraordinary ability to deliver. Ash founded NextAxiom Technology, Inc in May 2000 based on an invention that brings groundbreaking agility to business software applications. Before founding NextAxiom, Ash delivered the realtime assimilation of Red Pepper Advance Supply Chain Planning products within the PeopleSoft technology platform as a result of PeopleSoft’s first major acquisition. Ash also played a key role in PeopleSoft's merchant integration alliance program to incorporate independent merchants into PeopleSoft Business Network. As Director of Integration Technologies, Ash was responsible for delivering PeopleSoft's complete suite of integration technologies, including PeopleSoft's business components, real-time and near real-time application messaging solutions, that was deployed at over 4000 customers worldwide. While working for Red Pepper Software, Ash invented a semantic-based network transaction system for recoverability and high-availability of in-memory supply-chain planning and optimization servers.

Ash holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.


Sandy Zylka
VP Products & Technology, Co-Founder

Sandy is a co-founder of NextAxiom and the co-inventor of NextAxiom's seven patent-pending innovations. She has managed all aspects of the Hyperservice® Business Platform. To stay current with customer needs, Sandy participates in consulting services to NextAxiom customers as a Principal SOA Architect. Prior to NextAxiom, Sandy served as Product Manager for PeopleSoft's Optimization Applications. She led an elite team of PhD's responsible for delivering PeopleSoft's Advanced Supply Chain Planning and Optimization products. Prior to that, Sandy held positions as Principal Usability Architect and Senior Optimization Engineer for PeopleSoft. As Senior Supply Chain Consultant for Red Pepper Software, she led supply chain and integration workshops for companies such as Pepsi, Bausch & Lomb, HP, Analog Devices, and 3Com.

Sandy holds a B.A. in Neurobiology from the University of California at Berkeley. She has completed studies and research toward an M.S. in Computer Simulations.


Dave Bakke
VP Professional Services

Dave brings over twenty years of management, development and customer services experience to NextAxiom. Prior to NextAxiom, Dave was Senior Architect Specialist, for Siebel Systems where he implemented application solutions. As Web Products Development Director at OnLink, he focused on delivering browser based, guided selling software. As Professional Services Director at PeopleSoft he focused on implementing ERP and Advanced Planning Solutions. Dave has held positions as Director of Engineering Services, Project Manager, and Senior Software Engineer at Red Pepper Software, Measurex, Litton, and Ford.

Dave holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Oregon State University.


Mohsin Hussain
VP Engineering

Mohsin is a seasoned technology innovator with a proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise systems and web services. His work is being used by tens of millions of users worldwide and has proven to provide unprecedented degree of scalability and reliability. Before joining NextAxiom, Mohsin spent seven and a half years at AOL/Netscape leading numerous product initiatives as Director of Technology, Web Products and Infrastructure. At AOL, Mohsin was responsible for development and deployment of a number of large scale high availability services from the ground up. Most notable of these include a next-generation internet advertising platform responsible for delivering ads worth over US$400 Million, a real-time alerting platform delivering notifications to more than 60 million users via IM, email and mobile phones, military-grade two-factor authentication and encryption service, multi-client calendaring infrastructure, and an access-control service for digital rights management. Prior to AOL, Mohsin held various senior technical and management positions with three successful start-up companies: AtWeb Inc. – a Sequoia-funded company acquired by Netscape Communications, Scopus Technologies Inc. acquired by Siebel Systems and GeoWorks Inc - a publicly traded company.

Mohsin is the inventor of nine patent-pending technologies and holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.


Dave Clifford
Director of Support

Dave brings more than twenty years of experience in various technical management and customer support roles. Before joining NextAxiom, he was Product Manager of real-time integration tools at PeopleSoft, playing a major role in the design and development of the PeopleTools Integration Broker. Prior to PeopleSoft, he was a major contributor to the customer service function at Telegyr where he was responsible for the selection and complete implementation of their state-of-the-art helpdesk. Dave has also held similar roles at Fujitsu and General Automation.

Dave is a graduate of the British Royal Navy's Technical School.
