NextAxiom® Service Runtime Environment (SRE) is the heavy-lifting engine of the Hyperservice® Business Platform. It provides an automated execution and instrumentation environment for metadata-driven composite and atomic services. SRE is platform independent and can be installed on, or embedded within, all major server platforms. The unit of work in NextAxiom SRE is a native service. All SRE native services are automatically created by the SRE and therefore they are Automatic Services. The generalizations in SRE strictly pivot around services and service input and output data as opposed to objects, messages, structures or other means of orientation.
